Our recommendations are:

1. Do not use Ni-cad canon cb-2lv chargers to charge li-ion cb-2lv batteries.
2. The canon cb-2lv battery should be stabilized to room temperature for at least one-hour prior to charging:
   Charging a cold canon cb-2lv battery (below 50 degrees Fahrenheit) may result in leakage of electrolyte and ultimately in failure of the battery.
   Charging a hot canon cb-2lv battery (above 95 degrees Fahrenheit) results in reduced discharge capacity, affecting the performance of the cameras.
3. Always leave the canon cb-2lv batteries in the cb-2lv charger for an additional 1 - 2 hours after the green light appears on the charger
4. Do not charge the cb-2lv battery if it is not almost discharged
5. Do not charge a fully charged cb-2lv battery for an extra boost. This will significantly reduce the battery life and charge capacity
